(Hong Kong, 29 January 2008) The “8th Asia Expo” presented by Kenfair International (Overseas) Limited, opens today at the Grand Hall of Olympia Exhibition Centre in London of the United Kingdom.

The 4-day trade show, running from 29 January to 1 February 2008, features over 520 exhibitors from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, India and some other Asian countries in 550 booths. The all-Asian allure is expected to draw a huge attendance of professional buyers from the UK and other European countries. Since its debut in 2001, the UFI-approved event (since 2003) has been known as a premier showcase of top-notch and competitively-priced toys, gifts, premium and household products from Asia.

Mr. Herbert Ip, Chairman of Kenfair International, said, “‘Asia Expo’ is purposely timed in early spring to capitalise on the peak sourcing season in Europe for international buyers. The show date fits in strategically with the marketing and sourcing schedules of both manufacturers and buyers, giving them an effective one-stop trading platform.’
